I’ve known Nola for a few years because we went to the same law school and have a lot of mutual friends. However, she is the sweetest soul! Funny thing is her photoshoot almost didn’t happen because she was running late (Caribbean time LOL) and I had to drive to another photo shoot in NW DC right after her shoot. We made it happen though and luckily she was a breeze to pose! Keep reading to see some of the awesome shots we got in a very short window of time.
Where is your hometown and how long have you been in the DC metro area?
First Generation American Born to Haitian Parents in the amazing Brooklyn, NY. I’ve lived in the DMV for 18yrs now!

I am mother to my two greatest accomplishments in life: Nolan (9) and Melody (8)

When do you feel the most beautiful?
I feel most beautiful when I’m at peace and living life on my terms… It also helps when my twist-out is fresh ?
Do you have a self-care routine? If so, what is it?
I don’t necessarily have a routine because my life is full and schedules can be crazy for me BUT I take care of me, no matter what! And what that means is that I don’t deny myself needs or wants because it isn’t convenient or acceptable for someone else.
What does being Fiercely Feminine mean to you?
Being ” Fiercely Feminine” to me means accepting and exuding traditional feminine qualities like “warmth, gentleness, nurturing” but at the same time being a force to reckon with when needed.
What is a goal you have been working on?
My career is a very important part of my life (I’m a Tech Lawyer) and I’ve been working on moving into a role that will help me to diversify my skills in the space — and I’ll be doing that just that next week! I’m very excited about the new adventure! I guess it’s also time to start thinking about my next career goal because this isn’t the end…
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Live life for you – not anyone else!
