Donavi was one of the few people from the 30 Days of Beautiful campaign that I had no connections to. While others I already knew or had a mutual friend, Donavi came across the campaign from a facebook group for models and photographers. She said she was new to modeling and wanted to get better at posing. Of course she found the right photographer! When do you feel the most beautiful?
I feel the most beautiful when I am surrounded by nature and when I am my natural self without being dolled up.
Do you have a self-care routine? If so, what is it?
I listen to classical piano or lo-fi music, give myself a mani-pedi, and I take time exfoliating my face, deep conditioning my hair, and use a soothing face mask to relax my face.
What does being Fiercely Feminine mean to you?
Having the confidence to accept myself as a beautiful woman inside and out , looking at myself in the mirror and not picking apart what I see, but instead celebrating and embracing and smiling back at my reflection, having the confidence to know what you want and to go for it and beyond.
What is a goal you have been working on?
Body Positivity – encouraging self acceptance/ self love
What advice would you give to your younger self?
You’re beautiful inside and out, please stop worrying about how others perceive you and just be your unique, quirky self. Never change who you truly are for anyone.
