30 days of Beautiful:
Nicky

Nicky was one of the last people to apply for the campaign, but also one of the first ones to select her slot for her portrait photography session. 

During her pre-shoot consultation, I learned that she lived in Philadelphia, PA, but that her good friend told her to apply anyway. I also learned about her many business ventures selling Greek, HBCU, and women’s apparel. To say she was busy was an understatement!

Nicky’s interpretation of royalty got me excited! She confided that she wanted her looks to be over the top and that is right up my alley for portrait photography!

Since meeting her for the campaign, Nicky has been traveling all over for her businesses and recently left her career as an RN to be a full time entrepreneur! Keep reading to get to know more about her.

My hometown and current residence is Philadelphia, PA. I frequent the DC area often as I have many friends and business opportunities in the DMV.

4. Your HBCU, LLC. specializes in apparel for Historically Black Colleges and Universities

When I am at Carnival. I love a theme:) I play mas in the Caribbean once a year.
 

Yes.
  1. I thank God for waking me up in the morning
  2. I keep my phone on do not disturb until 9 am to maintain quiet mornings with God.
  3. I have a trainer who I work out with twice a week and 2 days I spin.
  4. I do not check emails after 4pm
  5. I also go the Chiropractor once a month for a massage and realignment.
  6. I only go on social media for 1 hour a day

 

When I think of being, “Fiercely Feminine” I envision a fiery passion unquenched by the status quo. A new age of femininity that is independent of old traditions yet complimentary to a world in need to nurturing and strength!

SETTING GOALS AND PAST REFLECTIONS

Listening more and talking less. I am consciously trying to be more present in conversations and most importantly with God. Another goal I have been working on is saying no unapologetically.
 

For building my businesses, surviving my divorce and evolving into a more feminine woman.
 

Be kind to yourself. Your are the best t ever do it! It’s okay to be misunderstood, God knows you best and that’s all that matters
 

It looks like happiness. Happiness on my terms and no one else’s!
